RETURN
We spend much of our lives searching for what we have quietly left behind. Most people are not searching for something new, they are searching for a way back. When the world gets too loud that you stop hearing the voice within. At some point, nearly all of us become strangers to ourselves, we don’t recognize who we are anymore. Small choices that slowly weather us down into something we are not.
Deep down we all know that something is wrong, something is missing. We can feel it in the quiet moments between obligations and distractions. We sense that there is more to life than rushing from one thing to the next, more than achievement, consumption, and endless noise. Beneath it all remains a longing to return to what is real, to remember who we were before the world told us who we should be. Somehow we lost ourselves along the way.
The journey home begins the moment we stop running from ourselves. Perhaps the answer is not to become someone new, but to return to who we have always been. Returning to the most authentic versions of our souls.
Take a deep breath.
Exhale.
Remember.
The path home has always been within you.
